Murielle is a name of reference in Haiti by her participation in different forms of arts but is also noticed throughout the world, as she
receives invitation to participate in Fashion shows such as the World Fashion Show at the Bahamas where she receives the “Seal de l’Excellence”, in Florida at Femmes in Productions, and many other cities.

To sum up how she was able for 25 years to keep Murielle Creations in an interview, she presented her willingness, her desire to do well, her courage are essentials qualities that kept her clients confident that she will deliver a fashioned product. Dancing, just like
painting is like breathing for Murielle, after dismissing her pain for several months she was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer that starts in the plasma cells of the bone marrow.

Murielle currently lives in Miami at an assisted living facility where she spends her day taking treatments and continue fighting cancer through her art that fan support through social media, you can always inbox her to buy one of her creations. By the grace of the Lord and with support of friends she is able to participate in activities such as Artisanat en Fete in Haiti, Fashion Show in the Dominican Republic and local fairs. Murielle Creations has received several nominations, awards in Florida, New York, Canada, France, Italy and everywhere Haitian Art is appreciated.

Murielle Leconte is an engineer by trade, a Fashion Designer, and dancer. Her father, an engineer and her mom an accountant at
the bank. She studied engineering at her father’s school and started to teach topography at the same some early on. After receiving a scholarship from the Agriculture Ministry of Haiti, she continued her studies at the Instituto Geografico Agustin Codazzi in Bogota, Columbia. She also received a diploma in Protocol and Etiquette from the Diplomatic Consular Academy. She worked at her father side at the Institute Leconte who then died in 1988. After her father’s death she dreamt that she was painting on dresses and after investigation she started Murielle Creations on a December 1990 on her birthday.

Though she works in many capacities as an engineer, professor, in both private and public sectors in Haiti, after work Murielle dedicated herself 100% to her art and Murielle Creations. Over more than 20 years, Murielle Creations participated in Fashion Shows, Television Shows, Carnivals for her artistic creations to not only paintings on clothing for both men and women supported by burlap, cotton and silk. Murielle also paints on bags, jewelry, centerpieces but besides her creations she prepares models through her modeling agencies.
